Added commentary on state of American Education and references to classical home schooling based on Mortimer Adler's great books (a complete program from Nursery School to Phd.).

COOKBOOK teaching.  This provides the basics available for K-8 to meet state standard eductional requirements in a systematic and progressive way.

We reorganized the general information section so that the home school teacher can remain focussed on the task at hand, namely, educating their child.  The general information section provides additional resources available regarding the law, standards, and other resources.

Indiana state standards, lesson planning, about page, arithmetic review, other resource guides (for now Indiana focussed, but generally applicable across states), requirements for team teaching and integrated teaching approach to go beyond standards.


This is the first of many entries to help parents teach their children.  The goal is to foster the development of your child to be the Einstein, Thomas Edison, Blais Pascal, Leo Tolstoy, Daniel Webster, Mozart, or John Stuart Mill that they can be in a way that is consistent with your family values and beliefs.
